Clarivate Analytics receives all Springer Nature books, book series, and conference proceedings through electronic data feeds on a weekly basis.
Web of Science doesn’t automatically index all the books published under a series even if they have accepted the series in the past—each title is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Clarivate Analytics has a cap of 10,000 titles per year across all publishers for the Book Citation Index and 4,000 for the Conference Proceedings Citation Index. The books and book series get indexed in the Book Citation Index (BKCI), and the conference proceedings get indexed in the Conference Proceedings Index (CPCI). The titles accepted for these databases don’t get an Impact Factor, however the citations accrued for the titles in BKCI and CPCI are counted towards the Impact Factor.
Please wait at least 3 months after publication before submitting a request.
